Farlington Marshes Seawall

The Environment Agency have opened up access along half of the seawall – the eastern half, the side furthest from the carparks. This means ‘The Deeps’ (the pools near the southernmost point) can be viewed. They are currently looking in good condition to attract an interesting wader or two. Black-tailed godwit, common sandpiper and avocet were there this morning, as well as the first returning wigeon of the autumn near the information hut.
