Moving Time

The Hookheath cows have now vacated the reserve to pastures new. They will be joining the other Red Devons at Swanwick, making a larger 11 stong herd untill they leave the site a week later for thier over wintering grounds in the north of the county.

In other news I finally managed to spot the allusive Farlington Red-brested goose last Friday. It seemed content in being part of the Brent flock on the Hay field.
